I cut my boyfriend's hair!

Hello fellow bloggers! I came here to talk about the opportunity I got to cut Mitchell's hair.
He had originally wanted a haircut either from my usual stylist by the name of Anna or he wanted to go and buy some thinning shears . In the end he bought them and he already had a pair of hair cutting shears at home. He started to cut his hair and jokingly would say how he needed me to do something too. Little did I know I'd be doing a whole lot later on. I was originally supposed to do the back but I ended up touching his work in the front.

I would also like to say that I'm not a professional and so please do not think I was offered money to do this work on him.

This is how his hair used to look before. It's the only picture I got on the day where we actually cut it.

Then the process

haha all the hair in his collar bones

And then in the end he looked like a korean popstar.

Short on one side long on the other. I like it but anyway it was pretty scary to do. I was afraid if I messed it up that he'd be mad.

Anniversary gifts!

Ok so I've neglected writing this post for a few days, I think I'm just going to start writing all posts I have in mind when I'm in a blogging mood. Anyway I have 10 days worth of fun stories and whatnot.
So August 11th was my anniversary with my boyfriend :) It's been two years. I know it's short but it's still worth celebrating!

He got me some things that were very thoughtful and I thought I'd show non other than my blog.
I actually really want to start a youtube account but I don't have a good enough camera. I literally only use the ihpone and if you have decent sunlight the quality does come out nice, but otherwise not really.
Reason why I'm mentioning it being that I would've rather made a haul video. Maybe I'll do it anyway as a review? of some of the things?

OK ON TO IT

So the first couple of thing Mitchell gave me was this lovely pair of light pink patent leather mary-janes.

I would just like to say they are easy to walk in...like very stable but let me say also that easy to walk in does not always mean they won't hurt you. I got cut so bad, I almost have no idea what to do for the nest time I wear them. I was thinking about lace trimmed socks.

Here's another photo :

Notice my dolls haha and my other shoes. Pullip dolls on the top plus the next gift is another doll. The Stitch doll was from the Disney store from 10 years ago. I have a soft spot for Stitch.

From left to right top to bottom:

Pink Mary-janes: f21
Bevv Black Suede Pumps: Steve Madden
Cheetah Print Mary-janes: f21
Take 2 Wedge: Jeffrey Campbell
Short Faux Leather Booties: ALDO

Ok so knowing I have a thing for dolls my boyfriend got me  one of the Collectors Edition Disney Dolls. The Pocahontas one because it was literally the only cute one. Personally the others have their eyes painted more round as opposed to lemon shaped so they look like dorky little cartoons.

She's really cute and the designs are meant to look like toddlers.

He got me a stuffed Goofy doll too :) Goofy is my favorite Disney character. Better than Donald or Mickey anyday. I guess you can say I'm a bit childish because I still enjoy these things.

I also got two pairs of collar tips! From Topshop

see I told you I have a soft spot for stitch

I like the silver ones better but anywho. The top I've blogged about before it's from Aeropostale haha but I really like it. Shhh

And last but not least I had been raving about how I wanted this in my perfume collection for ages. I didn't really expect him to get it but it was sweet.

Marc Jacobs Daisy

The first time I smelled it, it was just like wam floral! I mean duh it's called Daisy so it's to be expected. Anyway I normally hate floral scents because I actually hate the smell of flowers in general. But this one was so fresh I loveeee it. The bottle is also really cute. I'm looking for a traveler so I can bring it along since I wouldn't want to carry the bottle.

Ok so that's all but it was all lovely.

Jeffrey Campbell Shoes...

I'm kind of just trying to post stuff that if I had my blog a long time ago would have posted up. This was back when I thought JC was a pretty creative guy. This was before I sort of learned about the way that he rips off many other designers works.

Anywho the first JC's I ever got were the famed Lita's but I actually had gotten mine from NastyGal so they were a sort of NastyGal Exclusive print. They were the leopard pony hairs...which I'd like to point out is actually cheetah print, and that their so called cheetah print pony hairs are actually leopard print. There was a bit of confusion with the names on their part huh?

I know I'm holding milk and it's funny but this one is a clearer photo than the other one. I'll put it though. This would be in CVS

Hat: From Ktown
Sweater: Yesstyle (It's actually my boyfriend's which explains why it's so big)
Tights: Topshop
Shoes: JC

The second ones I got which I only have one picture of and my toenails look gross ouy...
They were the JC Take 2 Wedges the Wedge is very slim so they are not as easy as you might think to walk in, but the main problem was the lack of half sizes. I usually fit a 6 and a half better than a 7 but they only had full sizes. There was a gap so it made it annoying to walk in them,

Peep the handbag in the back by the way! I got it in Japan :)

And the last picture I'm going to show is of the JC Jump Wedge
these aren't actually mine they belong to my friend Michelle, but I wore them for a whole day and I had no problems they are extremely comfortable and unlike the Take 2s the wedge is not heavy so it makes it much easier to walk in.

Cardigan: Chealsea Sky
Leotard: Borrowed
Skirt: H&M
Shoes: JC Jump

I would just like the point out that these are all old photos of almost two years. I don't have short hair and I'm just trying to blog about the products. Anywho I look like this now

Necklace: ALDO
Shirt: Zara Basic

Thanks for reading

Suspender Tights

I have a good number of suspender tights, so many. I got obsessed last fall when I first saw the scalloped edge fake knee highs from topshop:

I got these a little later than the others. The skirt is also by Topshop.

While looking in that section, there were more such as the suspender tights topshop carries
like the heart suspender tights, I actually purchased these first.
It's much cheaper to buy in the actual topshop than online btw.
(they are sold out)

This is what they look like

Necklace: H&M
Shirt: Aeropostale
Skirt: Topshop

Anywho I got into them a lot and then looked for the Henry Holland Chain Suspender Tights. I had a bit of an issue with the regular House of Holland Suspender Tights because of the house shape So I looked for the Chain Suspender tights instead

Bag: Topshop
Jacket: Topshop
Iphone Case: Ebay

I liked the look they give to an outfit so I went crazy, I even bough the House of Holland Pearly Polly Tights because I still refused to get the regular ones, anywho here are some shots. Some of these are from my insta or my facebook follow me @ihatemitchell

AND then finally after debating I got the house of Holland Susper Suspender Tights but I don't seem to have a picture >___> I will update this later to get a picture cause this is serious.

My boyfriend's Prom 2012

I think I'm already digging this I can totally blog it's just like tumblr only with more words which I don't think is too awful a thing. So I'm going to continue tonight, right now I have posts that are from back in 2008 and I sound childish and silly. I'm 18 years old now although it still doesn't mean I don't have the potential to be silly

Anywho I'd like to show pictures of what I wore to my boyfriend's prom this year. He is one year my junior and he also attended my prom. We got this French Connection Sunspark Strapless Dress he actually split the price with me since it was around 500 dollars. So sweet! Well we looked gorgeous so I must show off

It's a beautiful dress, it would've gone better with nude pumps I know, but he was wearing all black (and he looked awesome) so I wanted to match a bit more. Shoes: Steve Madden Bevv Pump

A closer look at the "sparks" on the dress. They look like studs but are actually raised sequins with a little bead right in the center.

Haha here's some fluff, anyway actually take a closer look at how the bowtie is reflecting it's actually metal!
I found this on etsy and showed it to him (OH MY GOD his name is Mitchell...I just keep saying "him") he thought it was cool and actually went ahead and ordered it.

The reason for the black suit is because the mix of texture made it look awesome had it all been the same fabric it wouldn't have worked as well as it did. I think it's great
look through his etsy shop though, they're some pretty sweet bow ties.

This last one is us with another couple who we're friends with. Both the boys wore black! From left to right
Mitchell, Penelope(Me!), Jeffrey and Tiffany. Funny thing about knowing so many fashion students Tiffany actually fully constructed and designed her own dress! And Jeffrey made his bowtie~
Follow Tiffany on tumblr here!: Hello I'm Fanny

Anyway I think I'm done now to add the tags and viola I am finished. :)

Topshop Heart Placement Tights

Actually the reason why i'm prompted at this moment in time to start blogging is because I was looking up images of the Topshop Heart Placement Tights and no one had a good picture through google of them actually wearing them, so I decided since I have them I'd post a picture so that if any other girl googles them maybe I can be of assistance. The thing is I have so much interest in this type of thing it's only a wonder why I don't do it, but hey I'm getting started, so here's some photos...

That's me back in the winter time I think circa 2011 haha, I don't have short hair anymore but there's one image of how they look and I believe I have another photo somewhere....lets see...

This one is from my instagram a few months ago; follow me if you can by the way @ihatemitchell

Anywho since I'm on it I'm going to give a review, they're a bit dark if you're on the pale side. I'd say I have olive skin not too tan but you get the point they are the perfect nude for me but for someone lighter it'd look like you have a funny tan they're also quite flimsy and as lovely as they are, 16 dollars for a pair of tights that are so delicate is a bit ridiculous. I find that the tights I buy from forever 21 for around 4.50 are much more durable. Nonetheless they are lovely tights and can be worn with anything you want should they last you long enough, bottom line though I still love em.

Oh my gosh I can't believe I always make accounts everywhere

I've had Tumblr, and blogspot for years but I've never decided to use them until recently. I've used tumblr a lot because it's a lot simpler than typing up a whole story. I really want to try blogging
since a lot of my interests revolve around fashion and make-up and girly things and what not
not to mention I love reviews and things of that nature. It is this time for sure that I will try.
